EDM DJ Cash Kings

Calvin Harris

Every year, Forbes releases its list of ‘The World’s Highest-Paid DJs’ and every year, Calvin Harris completely obliterates his competition. According to the business publication, the Scottish DJ/producer brought in $66 million over the past 12 months. This insane amount of cash comes from things like his studio album, massive Las Vegas residency and endorsement deals. Calvin Harris told Forbes, “The rise of dance music has been astronomical … I happened to be in the right place at the right time”.

Coming in at number 2 is David Guetta, who just narrowly avoids being doubled by Harris with an impressive $37 million. Tiësto claims the 3rd spot with $36 million and Skrillex and Steve Aoki round out the top 5, as they are tied with $24 million.

According to Forbes:

Our earnings estimates include income from live shows, endorsements, merchandise sales, recorded music sales and external business ventures. Sources include Nielsen, Songkick, Pollstar, RIAA, promoters, managers, lawyers and some of the artists themselves.
